T Star Cellular opened their Taiwan flagship store at Taipei 101 with huge fanfare on 8/13. Creating a telecommunications outlet precedent, T Star crafted a sensory experience for all five senses. Visitors experienced sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch combined with mobile devices. Ninagawa Mika, Japan’s world-renowned photographer, director, and teacher served as artistic director, leading the planning of a series of complete digital interactive touch devices and the technology-rich sensory experience. TCIT Media software was used to intuitively interact with content through face detection and color recognition.

T Star Cellular’s flagship store is located in the busiest mall in the Central District. The location is ideal for T Star to showcase their world-class telecommunications products and to expand their service offerings. AOPEN has integrated TCIT image analysis software, providing facial recognition and visitor statistics such as number, gender, age, dwell time and customer behavior patterns.
